What's New at Sunapee View?

In 2012 our garden pond was completed.  Gold fish were added and new gardens under construction. 14 of 16 goldfish survived their first winter and are tucked in once again. They continue to happily entertain our guests. The sound of the waterfall and stream are a nice lullaby for those in the rooms over the pond.

Over the winter of 2014, Linda completed the Master Gardener Course at the UNH Extension. George and Linda continue to expand the gardens and they are flourishing under their good care. June rewarded us with our first crop of fresh strawberries.

Air conditioners arrived at the B&B for July of 2014. Our high elevation and cool summer evenings gave them minimal use, but guests are happy to have the option.

In April of 2014 our new batch of chickens arrived. Our chickens were specially bred for cold NH winters and have proven excellent layers. They are sweet and friendly and love greeting guests who stop by to say hello.

Next on the list of plans: Build a labyrinth in our back field.  This has been a long time dream and hopefully will become a reality in the next year.
