On Wednesdays and Fridays during ski season, those staying 2 nights or longer can enjoy a simple supper of homemade soup and bread by the fire set up from 6 to 7:30 PM. We do not have a liquor license, but you are welcome to bring your own bottle of wine, and we will provide glassware and openers.
A hearty breakfast is served daily.
Every day enjoy an afternoon mini cheese plate.
There are always homemade cookies at the end of the day.
Those staying two nights or longer can ski Pine Hill Cross Country trails as our guests.
Borrow our snow shoes for a magical walk through local trails.
Let us arrange a dog sled ride or sleigh ride for you in nearby Windsor Vermont. Dog sled rides ($75 per person over room rates) are available on Fridays and Sundays and Sleigh Rides ($25 per person over room rates) on Saturdays.
Be sure to book well in advance as these fill up quickly.
Add a little history to your weekend. on January 29, 2017, Musterfield Farm is holding their annual ice harvesting at nearby Kezar Lake. Be part of this fun event as they demonstrate the harvest from ice cutting to loading and hauling the ice blocks for storage. Enjoy warm beverages and desserts in an antique school house. Antique cars converted into snow mobiles will be on display that day.
Rent some ice skates in New London or borrow them at the shack in Newport and skate around their flooded greens. If you like more solid footing, borrow our snow shoes and head off onto local trails to enjoy the winter beauty.
